In 2013, A.F. Amorello was awarded a $7.4 million road reconstruction project along Routes 12 and 20 in Auburn and Oxford. This project is being funded and managed/administered under the management of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT).

The 1.5-mile section of Southbridge Road (Routes 12 and 20) between Washington Street in Auburn and Main Street in Oxford will be reconstructed. Along with sewer, water and drain upgrades it will include a raised median to separate eastbound and westbound traffic, eliminating left turns and minimizing crossover accidents, and wider outside travel lanes. The project is planned to take three (3) years.
